We’ll help you develop your skills and career. All onboarding training is paid for, as well as any DBS checks. You’ll have access to extensive and ongoing training and regular support to support your career journey.

Excellent pay

At React Homecare we value your time. You’ll always be paid for travel time as part of your shift, earn above living wage starting at £12.52 depending on location, with a bonus plan including a £350 joining bonus, and enhancements for weekend work and public holidays.

We are looking to recruit compassionate Community Care Assistants in full and part-time roles to increase the size of our existing team. Life at React Homecare

Our Community Care assistants are caring, compassionate and skilled in enabling through care and support, making them highly valued members of our team.

Independence is increasingly important to our aging population and as a Community Care Assistant, you will be providing a service that enables service users to live in the comfort of their own home.
At React you really can make a difference, improving health and wellbeing and reducing social isolation.

The care you provide will often enable people to live independently, recover from illness or surgery and enjoy company or a trip out. As a Community Care Assistant you’ll build important relationships with our service users to align the support and care you provide with their needs and requirements. The work you do makes a difference every day.

No day is the same working as a Community Care Assistant as our service users have a wide range of needs and requirements. As well as important personal care, you may be preparing a meal, helping with household tasks or taking a trip out for shopping and lunch. Our aim is to make people’s lives better and achieve positive outcomes for our clients and their families.

If you enjoy variety, a career in care is flexible and interesting. When you start working in care you gain a career for life and learn valuable skills every day, progressing your career.

You don’t need any formal qualifications to start a career in care and all on-the-job training will be provided if you are new to the job. You’ll work towards a NVQ level 2 or 3 in Healthcare alongside day-to-day training.
We do look for certain qualities in our care practitioners, such as enthusiasm, empathy, reliability care and compassion. As part of the Provide Community, you’ll share our vision of Transforming Lives Through Care, Innovation and Compassion.

Our career paths are open to all age groups, from school-leavers to retirees. It’s never too early or too late to start a career in care and we are proud to represent a diverse community in the services we offer.

For many positions you don’t need to be able to drive, and we cover any travel costs on public transport between appointments. If you do drive, we offer a generous mileage allowance and access to a pool car.

Every client is different, and our services are tailored to their needs. Your role may involve personal care, support with cooking and cleaning or supporting recovery from illness or surgery. Some of our clients like a cup of tea and a chat or a trip out for shopping or leisure.

With a range of positions, hours can be worked over seven days, part-time or full-time and the option to cover evenings and weekends.
